Click maps to enlarge (PDF) The first map shows what North Central Mirdita looked like up until Tirex starting working in the District. As you can see, the Limestone Cap made a whole lot of that area of the property appear completely uninteresting to previous state-run exploration programs. Next, take a look at the second map which reflects our knowledge now of the property after extensive fieldwork (as described in the News Release dated August 20, 2008). This map shows that what was previously hidden up until now by that limestone cap, all of a sudden, has become extremely interesting for multiple reasons made clear in this illustration.
