| | Hello Everybody,
A very good start to the 2009 drill program at Letitna as you can see by the attached News Release. Letitna, as you know, is an important target area within Tirex's 352 square km Mirdita District.
Items to note;
- 31.5m (115 ft) est. true width of 1.25% Cu, 0.42% Zn, 4.9 g/t Ag, and 0.9 g/t Au including 8.0m (26 ft) grading 1.85% Cu, 1.39% Zn, 8.2 g/t Ag and 1.6 g/t Au intersected on first hole drilled in the 2009 Letitna program
- all four holes drilled in 2009 at Letitna have now intersected strong mineralization
- the zone is completely open for expansion to the north, south, east, west
- addtional assays are now pending
With further assays on the way, I look forward to updating you again soon. This is a great start to the 2009 drill program at Letitna, an area that hosts a very extensive geophysical anomaly, substantial hydrothermal alteration, multiple felsic volcanic domes, and an area with very significant size potential. Tirex will continue step out drilling, with a target to build up the large tonnage potential in the area.
With the zone open for expansion in every direction, we look forward to intense drilling at Letitna as we move forward in this area.
Regards,
Bryan Slusarchuk, CEO
